Product Description

  The embedded high-voltage soft starter is a new type of integrated starting device that combines multiple functions, meeting the starting needs of both asynchronous and synchronous motors. The product integrates starting, display, protection, and built-in current and voltage data collection into a motor terminal control device. Users only need to configure bypass switch equipment to implement a complete solution, making connections simple and easy to understand. The complete solution can achieve more complex control functions. The product features a built-in LCD screen for data reading and parameter modification, and parameters can also be adjusted via infrared remote control. Users can opt for external instruments that transmit the current and voltage data of the equipment through communication methods.

  The embedded high-voltage soft starter is suitable for starting AC motors with a rated voltage of 3-10kV. The product is widely used in industrial fields such as large steel, petroleum, chemical, aluminum, fire protection, mining, sewage treatment, and power, and can be well matched with motor-driven equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, crushers, mixers, and various electromechanical devices.

Working Principle

  The embedded high-voltage soft starter is a new type of motor starting device suitable for squirrel-cage asynchronous and synchronous motors. It is a terminal control device that integrates starting, display, protection, and data collection. Users can achieve complex control functions with fewer components. The embedded high-voltage soft starter controls the output voltage by adjusting the conduction angle of the thyristor through optical fiber, changing the voltage value at the motor stator terminal, thus controlling the starting torque and starting current of the motor, achieving soft start control. The embedded high-voltage soft starter can smoothly accelerate according to the set starting parameters, reducing electrical and mechanical shocks to the power grid, motor, and equipment. When the motor reaches the rated speed, the bypass contactor is automatically connected. After the embedded high-voltage soft starter completes the start, it continues to monitor the motor and provides various fault protections.

Product Functions

  • Personalized product design: Modular design, high-performance product integrating starting, protection, and signal collection.

  • High-performance processing: Uses a 32-bit microprocessor with high precision, low power consumption, high performance, large data and program storage capacity, and accurate and fast A/D conversion.

  • Rich starting methods: Infrared remote control start-stop function, capable of jog, current-limited start, voltage ramp start, current-limited + voltage ramp start, jump + ramp + current-limited start. Different starting parameters can be selected based on different loads to achieve the best starting effect, making motor starting more accurate and smooth.

  • Three sets of motor parameters: Can set three different motor start-stop and protection parameters based on motor power, achieving start-stop and protection functions for the motor.

  • Real-time monitoring: No need for external monitoring devices, built-in voltage, current, and temperature sensors for real-time monitoring of high-voltage soft starter starting and bypass data.

  • Thyristor protection: Built-in thyristor BOD protection unit and thyristor detection circuit. When a thyristor fails or is damaged, a fault alarm output is triggered, ensuring the reliability of equipment operation.

  • Optical fiber isolation technology: Uses multi-level signal processing and optical fiber isolation technology, providing high anti-interference capability, with digital trigger and optical fiber isolation technology ensuring true isolation between high and low voltage.

  • Communication interface: RS-485 communication interface, embedded with standard MODBUS protocol, facilitating configuration connection, and can communicate with upper-level computers or centralized control centers.

  • Analog signal output: The entire machine can provide standard 4-20mA signal transmission; corresponding to 0-6 times the rated current of the soft starter.

  • Programmable output ports: Port functions can be set according to project needs to meet external display or external control requirements.

  • User-friendly human-machine interface: Uses an LCD display for easier programming and parameter adjustment, making real-time fault monitoring more intuitive and improving work efficiency.

  • Fault memory: Records 16 faults, making it easier for users to find the most recent fault causes.
