The CGR1000 series digital soft starter for AC motors is a new type of starting device designed using power electronics technology, microprocessor technology, and modern control theory, achieving an internationally advanced level.   Power supply: mains power, self-built power station, diesel generator set;

  Three-phase AC: 380V (-20%, +15%), 50Hz;

  Applicable motors: general squirrel-cage asynchronous motors (wound motors can be negotiated);

  Starting frequency: standard products are recommended to start and stop no more than 15 times per hour (depending on the load);

  Cooling method: 320kW and below power is natural air cooling, 400kW and above power is forced air cooling;

  Usage conditions: The CGR1000 series soft starter must be connected with bypass contactors and necessary motor protection devices during use;

  Protection level: IP00;

  Environmental conditions: If the altitude exceeds 2000 meters, the capacity should be reduced accordingly;

  Ambient temperature between -25℃ and +40℃;

  Humidity not exceeding 95% (20℃±5℃), no condensation, no flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases,

  no conductive dust; indoor installation with good ventilation; vibration less than 0.5G.

  5. Working principle

  The CGR1000 series motor soft starter uses three pairs of anti-parallel thyristors connected in series in the stator circuit of the AC motor. By utilizing the electronic switching action of the thyristors and controlling their trigger angle through a microprocessor, the degree of thyristor conduction is changed, thereby altering the input voltage of the motor to achieve the purpose of soft starting. Once the starting is complete, the soft starter outputs the rated voltage, at which point the bypass control output signal controls the three-phase bypass contactor KM to engage, connecting the motor to the power grid for operation.
